All Seeing Eye
Made in Space is an interactive installation by 59 Productions, presented at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium. A projected field of star dust responded in real time to the movement of visitors within the space, with a Kinect camera mounted overhead tracking participants and translating their positions to influence the star dust particle simulation.
I was Lead Unity Developer on Made in Space, responsible for the real-time systems driving interaction, simulation, and performance. I worked on integrating Kinect tracking data, computer vision pipeline, developing the particle simulation behaviours, and building the systems that allowed clusters of particles to form gravitational wells when densities became high enough to pull in surrounding star dust. I also supported performance optimisation and system stability for continuous public use.
